About Saint Martha Foods

Saint Martha Foods began in January 2021 after a lifelong love of cooking sparked into a bigger endeavor. I, Martha, learned to cook from my mom at a young age, then with my siblings. Our family was always hosting and serving up amazing meals. When I returned to San Antonio after years on the East Coast, I began to crave both those foods and those experiences. And thus, Saint Martha Foods was born!

I would love to delight your taste buds with yummy dishes designed just for you. Next time you’re planning a dinner party or want to send a meal to a friend or just want someone else to do the cooking, Saint Martha Foods is here for you.

Who Is Saint Martha?

Saint Martha is a Biblical figure: the sister of Lazarus and Mary in the New Testament. When Jesus went to raise Lazarus up from the dead, she was stewing around in the kitchen, making food and not listening to his teachings. She was also the one to welcome him into the house, and thus is known as the Patron Saint of Hospitality and of servants and cooks. Legend has it that she also conquered a dragon! A truly remarkable woman.  We donate 10% of our monthly profits to the San Antonio Food Bank in the name of this legacy.

Our Food

My roots run deep in San Antonio, and I love to work with local shops and vendors to maximize deliciousness and sustainability. While I have many fan-favorite recipes, I enjoy working with all cuisine and dietary preferences.
